Blue Day 3

 Fresh snow and sun brought allot of folks to the hill today.  It was busy so I didn't get a whole lotta runs in.   

Blue - Day 2

 Day 2 is in the books,  another warm one with soft snow and limited terrain.  I focused on skiing on my edges aka carving letting my skies do the work.  It was fun and fast.  

Blue - Day 1 2024-2025 Ski Season

 

It was -3 , ice fog at 09:00 am. First hour was fantastic. Past 10:00 the freezing rain started. They stop loading Silver Bullet at 10:30. Stood in line for 20 minutes while the knocked the ice off the chairs. They stopped the lift at 10:50 telling everyone to go for hot chocolate. I was parked at the top in Spruce Meadows so I saw a fitness opportunity boot packing up Smart Alec ....around 20 minutes. It was an awesome start just a wee bit shorter then I expected.

2024-2025 Season Opener - 3 days at Whistler

 Kicked off the new Ski season logging 3 days at Whistler.   Skied with Jason and Chris from Calgary ,  Chris and Doug from Vancouver and traveled with Patrick.   The resort had only been open 10 days and about half the trails were open.   The high Alpine was more or less closed with some access via Harmony.    We boot packed up 7th Haven twice and did a full a partial Flute Bowl hike.
